CO2Carbon offsetting is a way of offsetting carbon dioxide emissions by investing in projects that reduce or remove CO2 from the atmosphere. Examples of such projects include reforestation, renewable energy projects and energy efficiency projects. These investments are made to mitigate the effects of climate change caused by man-made carbon dioxide emissions.
