Scope 1 emissions

Scope 1 emissions are direct emissions from sources owned or controlled by the reporting organization. These emissions typically come from on-site combustion of fossil fuels and from mobile sources used for business operations. Examples include emissions from fuels used in company-owned vehicles, emissions from on-site boilers or furnaces, or emissions from generators used for emergency power.
