The 2030 Agenda is a plan of action adopted by United Nations member states in 2015 to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all by 2030. It is also known as the Sustainable Development Goals,SDGs, and consists of 17 goals and 169 targets. The goals cover a wide range of social and economic development issues, including poverty, hunger, health, education, climate change, gender equality, environment and social justice.
