Value chain

A value chain is a network of organizations, people, activities, information and resources involved in moving a product or service from supplier to customer. Value chain activities include the transformation of natural resources, raw materials and components into a final product that is delivered to the end customer. Particularly against the backdrop of ESG regulations, there is increasing pressure on companies to improve the transparency of value chains.
